The University of Gothenburg has started the process to evaluate the research according to the action programme of the Vice-Chancellor. The project is called Research Evaluation for Development 2010 (RED10) and will evaluate all research at the University. The aim is to identify strengths and weaknesses in current and planned research at the University, and the evaluation will form a basis for future strategic decisions and reallocations.
The evaluation will be performed in three steps:
1. a self evaluation by each department
2. international peer review
3. bibliometric analysis
All departments will be involved. Therefore we invite you to an information meeting on the project before the final decision on the process.
Time: Wednesday January 13th 2010, 3.00-4.30 pm.
Location: Sal 10, the university main building in Vasaparken.
Coffee will be served from 2.45 pm.
Welcome!
